We arrived at Penang and fetched by Farahs' parents. They take us for lunch at a restaurant near the Port. We ate Kari Kepala Ikan, Sotong Goreng Tepung, Daging Masak Merah, Kerabu Mangga, Kangkung Masak Ikan Masin, Ulam-ulaman and much more. Fantastic! We love the curry.. After lunch, they brought us to Farahs' dad homestay nearby her house. It was big and very comfortable place for a vacation.
On the second day, we had a breakfast at a place where they made a nice Malay pancake. Forget the name. Its' certainly like a type of lempeng. hehe.. Then, we went to Padang Besar, Perlis at the boarder of Thailand and Perlis. It's shopping time! Bought a red jersey for B, blouse for Mom & mine too, and cashew nuts! The must-buy things at Padang Besar are jersey, Cashew nuts, pulut, etc..
On the third day, we had lunch beside a river. We ate fresh Ikan Bakar. It was so delicious! And before we depart to KL via train by the evening, we ate durian, rambutan, manggis and of cause, Radic Chicken. So shock that the mashed potato is pretty delicious than Kentuki at KL.
